A child may dream the dreams
That boundaries can not hold;
Through infinite imaginings,
That magically unfold.
A poor man dreams of riches
Believing it will render
Secrets to eternity
With every joy and splendor.
A rich man may still dream,
His earnings never cease
Yet longs for days gone by
Back, when he knew peace
The old man only dreams
And stares upon the ocean
He wishes youth could now return,
As if by magic potion.
A lonely man will dream of love
A tender sweet embrace
With someone he may share
His heart and soul and space.
The dreamer dreams of fantasies
He tries hard to redeem
Only to discover,
Life is just a dream.
